The club has held a Championship Show every year since 1961, with the exceptions of 1995 and 2007 when we hosted the Australian Samoyed National in Adelaide. View the list of previous Best in Show winners in a pop-up window. 2010 Championship Show This is the club's 50th Anniversary. The show will be held on Saturday, 12th June. There will be 3 other Championship Shows on the weekend – the Queen’s Birthday holiday – and you will have the opportunity to show under two American Samoyed specialist judges. ANKC has approved the appointment of Mr Larry Mackai to judge our specialty, and Mrs Kathy Mackai to judge Samoyeds at the Spitz Breeds Club of SA Championship Show. Yes, it’s only 2 weeks before the National, but consider it an opportunity for a shakedown trip ..... and a pretty special show in its own right! Refer to the show schedule for details of all four shows, or download a printable pdf version. 2009 Championship Show The 2009 show was held on 21st June and judged by Mrs Noreen Clarke (Icemist Samoyeds, Ireland). Best Exhibit in Show was awarded to Margie Johnson & Fay Tucker's bitch, Ch Aldonza Diorissimo, and Runner Up in Show to John & Dawn Wilders' dog Ch Silvertips Walk N Th Wild Side (Imp NZ).
